Fun family session on the Southside of Kauai, Hawaii

I had the pleasure of connecting with and photographing this sweet family of three on Kauai at the end of 2019. More & more I find the early morning sessions to be my favorite as the light is so soft, the beaches are empty and we can get out while its still cool. We met up at the Beach right in front of the Grand Hyatt in Poipu. This beach is packed at sunset but, in the morning there was only one big Hawaiian monk seal resting in the sand.

We explored along the coast and played in the sand, found logs to climb on and flowers to smell. We talked about life and love and what it is like to create a family with your beloved. I was so inspired by their connection and love for each other and their little boy. We watched the surfers playing in the morning waves as we walked the beach.
